About a 20-minute drive from Jan Kok Lodges, you’ll find Centrum Piscadera, a large supermarket with an extensive selection of both Dutch and international brands. The bakery section is excellent, offering everything from raisin buns (pan dushi) and sponge cakes to freshly baked rolls and pastries. The fruit and vegetable section is top-notch, and you’ll also find good-quality meat and fish. The selection of organic products is somewhat limited. A second Centrum Supermarket branch can be found in Mahaai.

Esperamos
Located on the Jan Noorduynweg, about 15 minutes from Jan Kok Lodges, Esperamos is a spacious supermarket with a great balance of local and international products. You’ll also find a fair range of organic options here. There’s a smaller branch on the Caracasbaaiweg, on the way to Jan Thiel.

Carrefour
Located in the Sambil Shopping Mall, about a 20-minute drive from Jan Kok Lodges, Carrefour is a modern supermarket with a wide range of products and frequent special offers. It also has a decent selection of organic items.

New California
A small supermarket in Tera Cora, just a 10-minute drive from Jan Kok Lodges. Perfect for picking up your first essentials. The selection of fresh produce is limited, and there’s little to no meat or fish available.

Van den Tweel
Formerly known as Albert Heijn, Van den Tweel in Zeelandia (with a smaller branch at Jan Thiel) offers a wide selection of Albert Heijn products and a good fresh produce section. Prices are generally higher than at local supermarkets, but if you’re looking for Dutch brands, this is the place to go.

Vreugdenhil
Vreugdenhil offers a large variety of fresh produce, international brands, and an extensive selection of organic products. It’s located on the Caracasbaai, which means it’s a bit of a drive from Jan Kok Lodges.

Mangusa
Mangusa Hypermarket, located on the Cas Coraweg about 30 minutes from Jan Kok Lodges, is a true one-stop shop. You’ll find everything here — from fresh fruit and vegetables to household items and electronics. Mangusa is well known for its friendly prices and frequent promotions.

Just a 5-minute drive from Jan Kok Lodges, at Coral Estate, you’ll find Bread & More — a lovely bakery offering freshly baked bread, crispy croissants, and sweet pastries. Open daily from 7 a.m. — perfect for an early morning treat.

Zeven Oven and Cups
For the very best sourdough bread, it’s worth the drive toward Caracasbaai. The sourdough loaves from Zeven Oven and Cups are simply delicious — and their cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, and Venezuelan pastries are absolutely worth trying.

Kafino
Kafino is a boutique wine and coffee shop offering a wide selection of wines — including many organic options — as well as gin and rum. The store, located in the Oasis Mall at Grote Berg, is open daily.

Tea Life Sanctuary
A beautiful tea boutique in Punda, Willemstad, where you’ll find high-quality loose-leaf teas. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet the owner, Natasha, who loves sharing her passion and knowledge about the exceptional teas she curates for her shop.

Nuthouse
Nuthouse is a contemporary specialty store with a wide selection of nuts, superfoods, raw snacks, vegan cheeses, and organic ingredients — all carefully sourced and, most importantly, truly delicious. They now also offer a great selection of teas and herbs. Perfect if you’re looking for healthy, unprocessed, and organic products during your stay on the island.

Harmonia offers a broad range of organic personal care products, vitamins, and natural food items. There’s a small shop about 15 minutes from Jan Kok Lodges, just past Centrum Supermarket (Saliña), and a larger store located at Professor Kernkampweg 7.

Barber Sunday Market
The lively market in Barber takes place every Sunday morning, usually starting around 6:00 a.m. and lasting until about 11:00 a.m. You’ll find plenty of local products — fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, homemade treats like pastechi, soups, and fried fish. There are often also plants, handmade crafts, and lively local music, creating a true island atmosphere.

Landhuis Daniel Art & Farmers Market
Every second Sunday of the month, Landhuis Daniel hosts a small and charming market featuring local produce, art, and occasionally live music. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the beautiful historic setting adds a touch of authentic Curacao charm.

Floating Market
The Floating Market in Willemstad is a lively and colorful spot where Venezuelan vendors sell their goods directly from their boats. Although smaller today due to changing regulations, it’s still absolutely worth a visit. You’ll find a mix of fresh vegetables, fruit, and fish, along with local souvenirs and handmade crafts. The atmosphere is warm and authentic — a perfect place to stroll around and soak up the Caribbean sights, scents, and colors.

Kura Hulanda Village
A charming market is regularly held at Kura Hulanda Village in Willemstad, featuring local art, crafts, and food. Check Instagram for current dates and opening times.

Hòfi Kalabash
At Hòfi Kalabash you’ll find a wonderful mix of fresh local products, art, flowers, and vintage treasures. Check Facebook for the latest dates and opening hours.

Hòfi Moringa
A sustainable, organic market usually held on Saturday mornings. You’ll find local products such as honey, organic vegetables, natural skincare items, and much more. Check Instagram for up-to-date market dates.

Roadside Stalls
Across the island — along the roads and near small hofi’s — you’ll find roadside stands selling fresh fruit and produce straight from the land. Stop for a moment, bring some cash, and enjoy the sweetness of island-grown watermelon, sun-ripened tomatoes, and juicy mangoes and papayas.

Hòfi Cas Cora
Hòfi Cas Cora is a sustainable farm where vegetables, herbs, and fruit are cultivated with respect for nature, following organic principles. Everything grown here is used in their own farm-to-table eatery, supplied to local restaurants, and sold in the cozy on-site farm shop.
